Loading the Components
-
Metal parts are hung on hooks or hangers attached to a rotating monorail or trolley system.
-
The hanger carries parts inside the blasting chamber.
-
Parts can include castings, forgings, weldments, or fabricated structures.
2 Closing the Blast Chamber
-
Once the hanger moves inside, the blast chamber door closes automatically.
-
This prevents steel shots and dust from escaping.
3 Shot Blasting by 4 Wheels
Inside the chamber there are four high-speed blast wheels.
Process:
-
Abrasive shots hit the metal surface.
-
Rust, scale, sand, and paint are removed.
-
Surface becomes clean and slightly rough, ideal for coating or painting.
4 Rotation of Hanger
5 Shot Collection & Recycling
After hitting the component:
-
Steel shots fall to the bottom hopper.
-
A screw conveyor or bucket elevator collects them.
-
Shots pass through a separator:
This makes the system continuous and economical.
6 Dust Collection
A dust collector system:
-
Sucks dust from the chamber.
-
Filters it using cartridge or bag filters.
-
Keeps the environment clean and safe.
