. Loading of Components

• Components are loaded into a rubber-lined or steel rotary barrel

• The barrel is designed to tumble the parts gently during rotation

• Machine door is closed and locked for safety

2. Barrel Rotation

• The barrel starts rotating continuously

• Parts inside roll and tumble, exposing all surfaces

• Rotation ensures uniform blasting coverage

3. Shot Blasting Operation

• High-speed blast wheels throw steel shots or grit into the rotating barrel

• Abrasive media impacts the components and:

  • Removes rust, scale, oil, and sand

  • Cleans casting residues

  • Smoothens edges and removes burrs

  • Improves surface finish

4. Media & Dust Separation

• Used shot and dust fall through openings into a separator system

• Separator divides:

  • Reusable abrasive media returned to blast wheel

  • Dust and fines sent to dust collector

5. Dust Collection

• Dust collector (bag filter or cartridge type) removes fine dust

• Clean air is released into the atmosphere

• Maintains clean working environment

6. Completion of Cycle

• After preset blasting time:

  • Blast wheel stops

  • Barrel rotation stops

• Machine unlocks automatically

7. Unloading of Components

• Barrel tilts or reverses direction

• Cleaned components are discharged into a collection bin or conveyor
