2 Conveyor Movement

3 Shot Blasting

• The machine has 4 blast wheels, usually positioned on the top, bottom, and sides of the chamber.

• High-speed steel shots are thrown from the blast wheels onto the moving metal surface.

• All surfaces of the component are cleaned as it passes through the chamber.

4 Abrasive Recovery System

• Steel shots fall into a hopper below the conveyor.

• A screw conveyor moves the used shots to a bucket elevator.

• The separator removes dust and broken particles, returning clean steel shots to the blast wheels.

This ensures continuous operation with minimal wastage.

5 Dust Collection

• Dust and fine particles are collected in a dust collector system (bag filter or cartridge).

• Clean air is exhausted outside the machine, keeping the environment safe.

6 Unloading

• After passing through the blast chamber, cleaned parts exit the conveyor.

• They are ready for inspection, painting, or assembly.
